PerfectDisk 10 Service Pack 4 (Build 110)
PerfectDisk 10 Build 110 is now available. Various bugs have been fixed, a couple of which I wanted to specifically point out. We addressed a boot time defrag problem on Intel, multi-core, X64 processors running Vista SP2 or Windows Server 2008 SP2. Microsoft introduced this possible crash with Vista/2008 SP2 and has corrected it for Windows 7, but will not be fixing it for Vista or Windows Server 2008. So we created a workaround. We also made a workaround for the latest version of Safeboot, which introduced a problem for PerfectDisk users.

I still can’t perform the offline boot time defrag using PerfectDisk on my Vista SP2 computer. It displays a message like the defrag can’t access files or something and the defrag fails, just displaying th emessage for like 2 or 3 seconds, thus offline boot requires some file access which had not been addressed yet. Any idea how to perform offline defrag without getting the error message during boot?
